Jazz Ensemble One
Jazz Ensemble I is the advanced jazz ensemble at Manatee High School performing advanced high school and collegiate level jazz literature. Participation in Jazz Ensemble I requires advanced skills in musicianship and instrumental technique as well as a mature attitude toward rehearsals and performances. Jazz Ensemble is an extension of the concert band classes at Manatee High.
 
 
 

Jazz Ensemble Two
Jazz Ensemble II is the entry level jazz ensemble at Manatee High School. Students receive an introduction to the various styles of jazz and to jazz performance. Jazz Ensemble II is a performing ensemble. Any student interested that plays the trumpet, trombone, saxophone or a rhythm instrument including drums, piano, guitar or bass may sign up for Jazz Ensemble II. Jazz Ensemble is an extension of the concert band classes at Manatee High.
