An Incredible Event For The Manatee High Marching 'Canes!

As A Result Of The Band's Wonderful Performance At The 2003 New Year's Day Parade In London, The Marching 'Canes Received A Special Invitation To Participate In The
2006 Edinburgh, Scotland Easter Festival Parade!

It Was An Exciting Adventure!

An incredibly educational, social, and musical experience for our students and families. Scotland was amazing! From Edinburgh Castle down The Royal Mile to Holyrood Palace. The boat tour on beautiful Loch Lomond, "Mama Mia!" Hamish, haggis, the Postal Pipe Band, and the spectacular Scottish countryside and highlands! Our band represented Manatee High School and our community with class and two wonderful performances!

We are all extremely proud of this tremendous accomplishment.
